Triceratium pentacrinus fo. quadrata
caption Triceratium pentacrinus fo. quadrata Forti in Tempère and Peragallo 1909. See Desikachary (1989, pl. 787, fig. 3). Generic assignment of this species may require further investigation. Ehrenberg (1841) originally described it as Amphipentas tetracrinus and there appears to be significant diversity in forms. See Schmidt’s Atlas (1874-1959, pl. 98, figs. 9-13, 18), scale bar= 25 µm
