The cells of Hydrodictyon have multiple nuclei with large central nucleoli. In the picture are two of them visible in the cell center and at the end of the cell. The larger, dark-green body in the half cell is a . indicates 25 µm. Sample from the Lake Constance (vicinity of Bodman). The image was built up using several photomicrographic frames with manual stacking technique. Images were taken using Zeiss Universal with Olympus C7070 CCD camera.
