Saccamoeba limax in „classical“ shape as it can be found in literature. There are several cuboidal crystals (typical for this ), food vacuoles and the vesicular with its huge central . On the the likewise typical finely papillate uroid which recalls the family Amoebidae.
Sample from an aquarium. The image was built up using several photomicrographic frames with manual stacking technique. Images were taken using Zeiss Axioplan with Canon EOD 600D.
